I'm looking for suggestions here... My brother works as a salesman and gets premiums for hitting certain sales goals. This Christmas season he earned himself something like nine PS2s. He gave one to my brother before Xmas that he returned to Best Buy for store credit. I got mine a few weeks back. Now, Best Buy won't take it back without a receipt, even though it's sealed in the box. I don't need it, as I already have one. And I checked an EB, and they'll buy it back, sure, but for $80 store credit (robbery).
Now, I could sell it on ebay, I realize, but I'd be taking a hit I don't want to selling at below $150 (which is where the new ones go in price there). I can't seem to find somewhere to bring it back without a receipt, so I'm stuck.
So, do I just keep the PS2 in the box, and be a hero to my kids (should I ever have any) in 15 years when I pull it out of the basement for them? Do I keep it in the box until it's an antique and sell it? What else can I do with the thing? Should I just suck it up and sell it on ebay?
Argh!
