I was talking last night to Indian Shadow about an animated presentation that she is working on for the season two New Breed League members. I wanted her to see the best game intro movie that I had ever seen. She said that her jaw was still hanging after viewing it. To me computer animation is an artform and game intros are an artform all unto themselves. I especially like game intros that tell a story even as short as they are.
I wanted to share my favorite intro with you here and then to ask you what has been the best game intro movie that you have ever seen? Mine is from a PSX game called Ridge Racer Type 4. I thought that it would have been good enough to have been the commercial for that game. I have actually uploaded it so that you could download it and view it for yourself. If others have links to their favorites or would like to send them to me so that I can upload them for everyone's viewing, please let me know below.

Jim Cougar - Ridge Racer Type 4*
I had forgotten about the music. I actually loved every song in it as well. The game had sort of a screensaver feature where you could choose any of race track and song. The race would just loop as well as the song until you changed it.
