After playing on two memory cards, due to skipping ahead, and constantly missing Personal Wind (who had an annoying habit of showing up at the worst possible times), I decided to stop doing that. The exception being scanning ahead through the year to make sure my broodmares lived.
Finally, I got to a year where Personal Wind was available for purchase on 7/1 (along with Formal Opera). With that being accomplished, I decided to skip ahead to see how the foals that had just been conceived turned out. I had a few original mares that were deemed quite compatible with my monster, Gray Ghost (first gen original out of Even Fan and Desert Navy). Stud fee = 56,810.
The results were a little disappointing. Though one pairing, Gray Ghost and Jem, managed to produce a 140,000+ foal.
So I stupidly decided to do some test breeding.
I went back to the 3/5 save, and tried again, saving the new 4/1 save over the 3/5 save. All four Gray Ghost foals ended up with 5 star futures. The problem was that they were late developers on the cheap side. A Gray Ghost and Rogue pairing produced a foal that was only 30,000+. So, I did even more testing. Stupid me. With Personal Wind waiting, I had no intention of keeping any big priced foals, or so I thought.
A pairing of Gray Ghost and Rogue (first gen orig out of Rare Emerald and Personal Crisis) produced a colt that had a price tag of 248,000+. The game named him Sharp Future. I didn't bother changing it, I wish I had.
Since I would like to participate in the LSL at some point, I decided to race him through retirement. Like his dad, he had a 6 year peak. Managed to get 19 titles with him. He also gave me my highest speed figure of 154.

After retiring him I was just going to go back to my old 4/1 save. Then I saw his stud fee. It was 99,999. That shocked me a bit. Sharp Future wasn't even my highest priced foal of the game. That would be Rude Aquarius (renamed Cosmic Ghost out of 2 originals Gray Ghost and Winged Kick) who had a price tag of 274,940. He also had a 6 year peak and 99 stamina, but, his stud fee was only 70,550.

So, I'm at a bit of a loss at what to do. I don't have a max drive or a sharkport. Should I keep Sharp Future with his 99,999 stud fee and sacrifice all the horses that I lost due to skipping ahead? Or, should I sacrifice Sharp Future and go back to the 4/1 save? Even though I may not see another 99,999 stud fee for a long, long time.
As it is, I'm already playing off of 3 different saves 2022, 2043, and 2068. This would make a 4th.
Regardless, I'm never test breeding Gray Ghost again. That's how I got so many saves in the first place.
Any advice would be appreciated.
