You volunteered to provide some extra entertainment to those who enjoy Gallop Racer 2006 and you all did a great job. The LOC staff are now only NicksBrownfan and Beau1935. They run everything now and that is not okay. Burnout can happen to volunteers if they are over taxed and these two are in danger of that happening to them soon. The LOC in order to continue, needs new staff. Please consider helping them out in some area of the LOC. We all would appreciate it very much. Note: Beau1935 has posted a announcement on this above this one, but I wanted to reiterate how vital it is to get these positions filled. His posting lists out the functions of most of these positions so please view it as well. We will certainly need another Race Secretary for next season, however. We will not stop racing this season, just don't expect any upgraded vidoes. (or for me to even be able to spell the word correctly) Pony is taking a look at the possibility of taking over as Stud Book Manager, something which I have yet to learn from Bean. I will be learning to do that as well since it's all part of the same database everything else is working from. Besides, it's important for more than 1 person to know how to do all the different functions necessary to run a quality league. Brock is interested in taking over the Betting Parlour Manager position, last I checked. The workload there is pretty light now, but as more folks bet, the labor load will increase. Once again, Race Secretary is what we really need for season 3. As I said in the other thread, I would like for the new Race Secretary to be able to "get their feet wet" in week 14 this season. Beau ps - Did I mention that we could use a Race Secretary?

T big problen is the assess 97 i down loaded a free access 97 fome streamnet database- and have spent the better part of a week and a half trying to get it to open so i could use it. If any one can help me with this I would greatly appreate it. my only other oppetion will be to try and buy some sofr wear, and that will be very hard to do as i am on a limeted income.

I don't know about Office 2000 though. Frankly I was surprised that Office 2003 was not 100% backwards compatible. I'm still looking into getting another copy of Office 97. Our BIG sticking point for this league continues to be the lack of Race Secretaries. If we don't have those positions filled for LOC3, we don't have a league. It's that simple. Beau
