This is probably quite obvious, although I've learnt that most things in this game aren't as obvious as they might appear to be!
Would you say the taller the horse the higher it's weight should be? And should it's stride be taken into the equation?

This newbies theory is that horses, even virtual ones are not that different to people.... taller people have more bone structure leading to more muscle
and on the whole more weight so my taller horses are heavier than the little guys (although I have some overweight little guys at the moment!). I
personally believe that a tall horse would naturally have along loping stride and to train them to a short stride may mean that their performance is
slightly compromised. Similarly a small horse with a huge stride I guess would burn some energy maintaining that artificially long stride. So thats this
newbies theory which is still under development.

and people forget to equate the weight of the jockey too.

That was my first and biggest mistake! Hiring apps and no idea of what I was doing... I ended up getting an agressive jockey to ride the sprinters who is
well over 60KG and my sprinters are all little guys! I got a calm app for my distance horses (all tall) who happens to be low 50kgs. It took me a couple of
weeks to wake up to the jockeys weight and all too late by then, so I have been kicking myself ever since!
Good points that I have thought about myself.
As for the jockey I usually always go for a light one.
