The Donate and Draft has taken on a radical facelift in the new TOM. Everything has changed. The most radical change is in the selection process. Trainers are not limited to 7 selections. Trainers can select as many horses as they want. Trainers will only get their top 7 available picks though. This means a trainer can select 40 horses for example. He gets his #1 pick. However other trainers pick up his #2,#3,#4,#5 picks. Next horse he is allocated is his #6 pick. Other trainers then pick up his #7, #8, #9, #10 picks in the second round. Previously this trainer would only end up with 2 picks out of 7. Now he will get #11 pick and so on until all seven rounds have gone and ends up with 7 horses instead of 2.
To all trainers planning to select horses in the D&D, it is encouraged you pick as many horses as possible. This way it will ensure you get your full compliment of 7 picks rather than be disappointed getting only 1 or 2 of your picks.
The changes are listed below:
Donating horses:
This is done by clicking the upload D&D horses button on the main menu. The upload screen is the same as the normal upload screen.
Enter horses in races:
Previously whomever ran the D&D placed horses where he thought they should go. In the new version of TOM you decided which race you wish to put them in. For example you may have a horse with a preferred distance of 1m but in reality he is a sprinter. Previously this horse could have ended up in the mile category. Now it will end up where you put it. To enter D&D races click on the Enter D&D races button from the main menu.
Viewing D&D horse form:
&D form can now be viewed in TOM. Previously you did not have this option and had to remember the horses for from D&D races. To view horses click on the View D&D horses button
Selecting a D&D horse:
One of the biggest changes made to the D&D process is selecting horses. Now you can select as many horses as you want. If you want to select 100 horses you can. You will however only get the top 7 ranked available horses. To select a horse click on the View D&D horses button and choose from there or from the actual horse screen.
Changing selection order:
Sometimes you select a horse and decide you don't want that selection or want to move that selection up or down the list of your picks. You can do this now by clicking on the up or down arrow or the delete button in the View D&D order screen. You get there by clicking the View D&D Order button from the main menu.
