I need some HELP. Hemz and I have been trying for the past week or so to get my Horse File transferred. I am using a MaxDrive. Everytime I copy my horse
file to the max drive, then to my PC, it has been empty. Hemz and I have gone over my procedure and I seem to be doing it correct. But, somewhere along the
line I must be missing something. Can someone give me a step-by-step list of how they are transferring their files? Here is the email I sent to Hemz
outlining how I was transferring my files. Does anyone notice anything out of order?
once Max Drive has loaded I insert the memory card from slot 2 containing the copied horse files
1) On PS2; insert current GR2004 memory card in slot 1, and blank memory card in slot 2
2) select 'Options'
3) select 'Manage H'
4) when list or Original horses appears I go through and 'copy' each horse to memory card 2
5) move over to memory card 2 and 'save'
6) end
7) quit GR2004 and load Max Drive disc and stick. I reformatted the USB stick to clear any data on it
9)under 'My Devices' I select the memory card as my 'primary device'
10)it lists 2 files:
"GallopRacer2004 HorseFile" &
"Your System Configuration"
11) I select "GallopRacer2004 HorseFile", move to right hand column, select "copy to max Drive", click on 'X' to
select
12)it then says "reading", the "writing"
--- if I then select the max drive as my primary device and try to copy back it says "No files to copy!". it shows space has been
used, but nothing is listed as being on the device
13)then go to my PC and insert the stick into my USB port
14)when checking the E: drive it shows a folder named "BASLUS-21031GR7PRO"
Here are the contents of the folder:
-BASLUS-21031GR7PRO: File; 1kb
-gr7product: File, 79kb
-gr7pro: icon
-icon: system file; 1kb
15) I then "move" the folder to the C: drive on my PC
16)then attach and send the file to you
What am I doing wrong? I have attached all 4 files contained in the folder. You said earlier that "BASLUS-21031GR7PRO" is the
file you need. What are the other 3 files?
Thanks for any help
