Like most of you, i find the managerial aspect of Starters orders 3 very interesting and the game has had much improvement since starters orders 2 (John Mc
Crirricks in the uk)...there are a couple of changes i personally would like to propose, in doing so would enhance the hardcore useres like ourselves but also
make the game more appealing to the general public..
1. The first has to be the race scenes...everyday in betting offices across the uk, virtual racing is on display, this is the standard which needs to be achieved, to add that touch of realism...
2. I would like to see the inclusion of yearling auctions / mare & filly auctions etc part way through the season, e.g tattersalls or goffs...
3. The inclusion of major news within the racing year...e.g the 'racing posts flashes up saying - duel of the century tomorrow horse x and horse y fighting it out for a classic' etc...just adds some realism to it
4. The training sequence could become more detaield with training tailored to each individual horse, reather than simply Lot1/2/3...
5.the inclusion of external people, e.g head lad says...horse is training poorly.... vet says horse in run down, and is susceptible to injury and should be rested...allow a jockey to ride out and get his opinion, e.g. good speed, poor stamina, could be a group 1/2/3 horse etc...
having said teh game is still great but i feel within the next 5 years there is an opening for one developer to make a game that will eclipse all previous....
