My entire NHC string were drafted from the Donate&Draft. I drafted for consistency over the 4 weeks as opposed to wins. Surprisingly, Spinning Wild (my 2nd choice) was available as most folks were apparantly going after the flat runners.

Blue Sky Thinking gave me my best result by finishing 2nd out of 16 runners in a 4 mile maiden chase at Market Rasen.
Cold Wind ran 5th of 10 runners in the Sandhills Stables Maiden, a 2m4f hurdle.
Double Rap took home show money at Punchestown, finishing 3rd of 9 runners in the Donny Stables Maiden (2m hurdle).
Emerald Fury came home 5th in a big 17 horse field in the Chris Dean Maiden at Punchestown (3m hurdle).
Roppongi Monkey came in 3rd of 13 in the Mark Loveday Maiden, a 2 mile chase.
Sepia Event was the only horse to disappoint, coming 5th of 6 runners in the Oakwell Downs Maiden (2m4 hurdle).
Spinning Wild came in 4th out of 14 entrants in the Laurel Racing Juvenile Maiden, a 2m hurdle at Market Rasen.

I wanted consistency and that's exactly what I got.

I would like to thank the following wonderful trainers for making these horses available:

Chris Dean for Blue Sky Thinking.
D Robertson for Cold Wind, Double Rap and Roppongi Monkey.
Dave Fuller for Emerald Fury and Sepia Event.
The Duke for Spinning Wild.
