Cigar Handicap

Bingo Bongo: Up 14 pounds since handicap win at this trip and faces a massive task off top weight here
Fair Superstar: Has very decent group form but weighted acordingly and hard to see him winning this
Shekan Star: Rated almost 2 stone higher than previous handicap win and hard to fancy
Fog: Mid division in Cambridgeshire and 7 pounds more here. No.
Bang In Tune: Need much much further. No chance
What Big Eyes: 23 pounds higher than when second in week 4 handicap and should struggle here
Longbow: Looks average at best at not particularly well weighted. Look elsewhere
Blimey Limey: Winning run stopped last time but may have been down to trip rather than weight. Cannot be ruled out.
Maria Lacombento: Won banded maiden but looks far too high in the weights for her limited ability
Pillow Talk: Another poorly weighted runner on what she has achieved. Little chance of featuring
Dim Hope: Had some very tidy early season form though tendency to front run a concern. Shortlist material
Colour Of Money: Achieved 67 rating for mid division finish in Prix Dollar on wrong ground. Definite chance
Julius Caesar: Looks in the grip of the handicapper after long campaign and up 4 pounds today. Others preferred
North Cove: Nice racing weight but on balance of form still has something to find.
Billie Jo Spears: Hard to fancy on first try beyond 9f
Pasco Hombre: 15 pounds higher than when 3rd in a banded handicap. Hard to fancy
Edinburgh: Has run every week so far but hard to make a case for her on any of previous 15 runs
Yarra River: Read the trainers comment! Says it all...
Letitias Loss: Well named. Another loss likely here given recent handicap form
Sail Away: Seventh after front running in Cambridgeshire. Could be a massive blot on handicap and big chance here
Xando Rock: Has front run every time so far. Nicely weighted and with restraining tactics might be right in this
First Bit X: Closer to last in all probability
Lite Beer: Looks versatile but limited. Hard to make a case for her today
Courvoisior: Drops back in trip here but hard to fancy even off low weight
Crystal Clear: 4 pounds lighter here than when 7th in 10f w11 handicap. Several poor runs since but cannot rule out here

Analysis: Quite a lot of these can be ruled out on grounds of either weight or lack of form. Indeed, given the profile
of the field some of the talented top weights might still have a shout here. There are however a few down the handicap
that are worth looking at, namely Dim Hope, Colour Of Money, Sail Away, Xando Rock and Crystal Clear. All of them have
question marks, but at least one of them should be able to take advantage of their low weight. The one I like most is
Dodgy's Sail Away. She looks to have been ridden too prominently on both starts to date and if restrained could run away
with this. A similar case could be made for Xando Rock and Crystal Clear looks dangerous right on bottom weight for Vallada,
but I'm giving the vote to Sail Away from Dim Hope and Colour Of Money
