I've won it twice, once with a purchased horse and once with a homebred horse (which I called Choirsir). I find that most of my best performed 2yo's in the slipper went on to be good milers, at the end of the 2yo season and at 3. Mind you the golden slipper winner (as per real life) aren't generally the best 2yo's come the end of the season.
Thinks to remember, make sure u can get them fit in time, and 1400m/1600m as per breed indicators are probadly the best for they can see out the distance. 1000m/1200m 2yo's sometimes struggle so early in the season.
