Well I did this with an orignal horse and like you said nothing happened. He was only OK on dirt, but I managed anyway.

I bought him for my own personal record of 258,000 pts as a 2 yr old, so I knew he would be good. He started just one horizontal line below peak, so I was expecting a normal curve. He got King of Kings as a 3 year old.

Was a great horse with a late growth chart that peaked in the 10th month of the 7th year. He wasn't the best horse at peak that I have bred, but certainly had longevity.

At his peak he had 99 SPD and 93 STA, Speed Demon, Strong Heart, Instant Response, Stretch Burst, Back to Back Master, and five other autos.

I named him Ballet Evil, a (5th generation) descendant of Personal Ballet along the male line.

He will no doubt become a mainstay stud in my pasture. My only dread is having to wait until year seven to see the peak of his offspring. I prefer to have horses with peak at year 3 month seven so they can be pastured the following year, speeding along the next generation. He studs for only 65000 or so, my highest stud fee is like 97000.
