Right now everyone is frantically breeding away so they can bring their highly anticipated prospects to the United States Racing Association Season I. I want to give you all a place that you can either brag on your own horses or rag on someone else's. I don't want it out in the regular public area of the forums because Newbies and some others might misunderstand what is happening and that is the LAST thing that I want to have happen on this Board. If you post or read the postings before it is understood that you intend to be here only for fun and will not take anything that is said in here seriously. When you leave here you are to sober up and treat your fellow Trainers as you always had. Note: You cannot rag on anyone who is not visiting the Brag 'n' Rag Bar. The banter is for BAR MEMBERS ONLY. Reason To Jett (Mare) 1m1 stalker 16 wins in 35 races $5,919,543 total money earned 8 Grade 1 wins 2 Grade 2 wins 4 Grade 3 wins Notable races won include the Breeder's Cup Distaff, the Colonial Turf Cup, the Cash Call Mile (twice) and The Diana Stakes (3 times). I have her exported as a 3 year old and a 4 year old. She's currently in my breeding barn working on her second foal. I have high hopes for the runners out of her. Her first foal is now 2 and placed 2nd in his first race. Jett Fighter is his name. Beau

You should get some decent prodigy out of her though. My breeding lines have been going well but the only competitive times I have at this stage are my juveniles. The rest need to improve by a few seconds and sadly in my new games my sprinters are dire yet again but they weren't in my crashed game Still hoping a patch fixes this Just note that the best horses to breed from are often not the ones who win the most grade 1's but the one's that perform the best in the CK Best horse I have bred so far is Cortina 7f - 1m2f as a juvenile and 1m2 - 1m4 as a older horse. Only won 3 group 1's but times are very quick as a juvenile and almost as good as some of my stuff from my first season in the league and he is a colt as well Definitely noticed that the bias to filly's and mares has been removed Last Edited By: leonVR 06/10/08 8:50 AM. I still have game horses in my breeding shed right now anyway. Plenty of room for homebreds. Unless a homebred really disappoints, I will give them a shot. What's CK? Beau

The horses that win the trials are the ones to breed from. For some reason some group winners can be useless when trialing them. My best mare at the moment who has produced the best offspring won nothing. Best was a place in a group race

I have a 2yo gamebred who runs 57s for Ascot 5f and 54s for Doncaster 5f on good tracks and those are well and truly under league standard times from SO2.

For example 54.9 in York for the Nunthorp on good going in the game but I can't get close to that in the race builder. Does resetting the rating affect the performance as I haven't done this yet. Horse is a front runner This is the case with most of my horses. Any ideas?

Havent really trialed yet. Only 4 seasons in. Got a sprinter that ran 51.2 for 5f on a softish track at Epsom. Hope it trials that good because it will probably go sub 50 on a firmish track edit: Just trialed it. Runs mid 49s on good to firm at Epsom. Never had a horse capable of a sub 50s 5f in SO2. Have numerous horses that run under the So2 times. I'm hoping this is good news and its not just So3 that is producing the quicker times. Beau in retrospect your horse Reason to Jett may not be that bad if these times hold up Hoping they do though. Have numerous who go sub 1m35sec on Newmarket good going over 1 mile
