A rather tame week for the stable but wasn't expecting much. 2 wins and a number of placings. Would have been nice for Old Root and Weekend Hussler to win
to keep the gap really close with Padraig but wasn't meant to be. I expected to lose ground this week on Padraig and I lost 3 wins on him. I thought he
would notch somewhere between 4 and 7 wins and he notched 5 wins.
Although 5 wins behind the title race is anything but over. I have sort of strength I had in weeks 12 and 13 running in the next two weeks and given my record at Gulfstream I could go ballistic this week. I expect to gain what I lost this week and the season to go down to a cliffhanger in week 17.
