Hi Downunder. Thanks for that.
I've just downloaded it, however compared to the previous showcase file, there is no decrypt button, to be enable to make the changes. |

Nice one Dave.

Yeah noticed there isn't a decrypt button. Is there any way I can get this added?

also, any ideas what the X means after the date of the race, i.e
3,24,X (what does this mean?) 29,120,5UP Cheers |

OK,
This is what the schedule is made up of: It can consist of 5 OR 6 lines. Take this for example 4,29,X 10,G1,4UP 400000 _preps,Dubai World Cup Flemington Australian Cup Copying the data into the grey are in the decrypt section will decrypt it. Copy and past the result into the encrypt section. Not too hard Line one is the date - 4,29,X the 4 is the month, the 24 is the day and the X is optional. Using X makes the field size larger but this can have adverse effects elsewhere such as taking horse from other fields so dont go ballistic with it. Line two is 10,G1,4UP the 10 is the distance in furlongs, the next part is the race grade: G1,G2,G3,G1H,G2H,G3H,120,110,100,90,80,M,NHF,N are all codes you can use. The G1H,G2H,G3H are new to UK but not to Aussie. They are group/graded handicaps. NHF is National Hunt Flat and N is Novice (Juveniles for NH). M is for Maidens. Ages are now O for Open, 2 for 2yo, 3 for 3yo, 3UP, 4UP and 5UP. First three are mandatory. Fourth is FM or CG for Fillies and Mare or Colts and Gelding. Leaving it blank means both sexes may race Line three is 400000 This is the value of the race as far as prizemoney goes Line four is _preps,Dubai World Cup This is a new and brilliant addition to the schedule. If you want the runners from say the Dubai World Cup to be in this race you use this. You can prep one or more race but try to leave it at one or two at most. Say you wanted horses that ran in the 2000 guineas and Derby Trial to start in the Epsom Derby. You would go _preps,2000 Guineas,Derby Trial Most important things to remember here is the race you prep must be before the event, if you prep more than one race they must be in ascending order in your schedule and their names MUST match exactly. Also race names MUST be unique. Two races named the same can cause all sorts of problems with this. Line five is the track You put the name of the track here. For jumps Cheltenham = chase, Cheltenham2 = hurdle. In the US its Pimlico for dirt, Pimlico2 for turf. Line six is the race name Try avoiding any meta characters - ,.<>(){}'";:/? - They can adversely affect you schedule. Instead of Prix De L'Arc De Triumphe use Prix De LArc De Triumphe Thats the low down on what is new....enjoy |

there is no 4yo only setting and the novice races are purely an N code, not graded

I still cant get it to work lol?
I found the other one easy, but this is confusing. I copy the Showcases.DAT file into the grey area of the decrypt version. If I try and edit in the decrypt area I get aload of numbers, and if I try and copy it into the encrypt area - everything disappears! I'm lost! |

I get the same, can anybody post a step by step instruction list to actually get the chance to edit the showcase.
Also which showcase.dat do u use, I have one in data/1 data/2 and data/3 |

Those folders relate to UK, US and AUS (not necessarily in that order) Uk is definitely data/1. showcasej contains the NH races.

Perhaps I am being thick.
I have followed the instructions to copy the game data in to the dycrypt grey section and then copy the result in to the encrypt grey area of that page. If I do that I get a circlular reference error and if I put in to the yellow area it jsu vanishes. What am I doing wrong. |

In the grey area, choose "Paste Special" and then "Values".

data/1 is UK
data/2 is US data/3 is Aus data/1 has showcasesj as well which is for the jumps |

Top job Dave - thanks!!
Is there any limit on the feature races, over the year or day, in So3 |
|||
RacingUK |
|||
|
There's no limit on feature races over the year, however per day there's a limit of 6.
I've finally (after 4 hours) created my Flat Schedule! Well chuffed, thanks for providing the tools Dave. |
