OK, bashed together these schedules. They are for the jump purists out there who do not want to play flat. Essentially they are 12 month jumping schedules.
Instead of November to April I have made this January to December. It means races you would normally expect in November/December will be in Jan-April in this schedule and ones you would expect in March-April will be in September to December. For example Cheltenham runs in mid October in this schedule. You are guaranteed a jumps race every month. Cheltenham has 20 races in October, Aintree 12 races in November and Punchestown 12 races in December as far as the big carnivals go.
The flat race schedule has been reduced to ten events and no races for horses 4yo or older are included in it. Horses for flat and jumps come from the same pool so removing the 4yo+ races from the flat will mean the likelihood of more horses competing in the jumps.
Races left in are the five classics for England and Ireland (guineas, derbies, legers).
Haven't run this through a heap of seasons so I have no idea how it will be 20 seasons down the track but it is stable for use for anyone who wants to try it out. Below is an example of the field size for the 20 race Cheltenham carnival.
Enjoy….
