Colmodea has done a wonderful job as President of the current SOPL for several seasons and will do just as well as the President of the new SOPL International.
Colmodea will preside over the three racing associations of the SOPL Int, the United Kingdom Racing Association (UKRA), the United States Racing Association (USRA) and the National Hunt Club (NHC). He will be responsible for coordinating all three racing associations' schedules. He will also oversee the cross competition invitations in the racing associations in races such as the Kentucky Derby, the Breeders Cup, the Epsom Derby, the Melbourne Cup, the Dubai World Cup and many more. I have also asked him to create an international newsletter that will include news from all three associations. Members can subscribe to it and it will be emailed to them as well as posted on the Board in a Members Only forum.
Many unpredicted situations will come up between the three racing associations that Colm will make decisions on as well. I know that Colm is going to help make this new era in the Starters Orders series and the SOPL, an amazing experience for everyone involved.
