I am really annoyed that with all of my horses that have have good chances have both got injured, for example Invasor last week and now The Minstral this week,
if someones controlling my horses, i personally will give them two black eyes.

A bit of bad luck for you Speedster. I'm quite happy with one of the injuries
that occurred this week Don't think Symbol of Light would have
beaten The purple Pirate any other way.![]()
Have won a group 2 now and I don't really care if it came in fortuitous way

Thats part of racing DU. No need to get all superstitious on us. I for one will miss your reviews. One of the best things is talking up your horses. I do it
all the time even though most of mine are pretty mediocre
but yes it
hasn't been the best quarter for you Yogi is pretty far clear but stranger things have happened. Although 12 wins behind is pretty dire at this stage some
of yours can't get steam rolled every week

I concur with Leon certainly wont be the same without you muckah
radical rethink needed...m8 had my best 2 runs in ages this week ..Evil Jag ran a blinder and Rebel Flyer ran 3rd only cos it had a jock on for a change (K Fallon) If you looked at my stock.. all of them chock-a-block with top figures but cant run for toffee in SOPL... Paul

leonVR wrote: Its actually 11 wins. TOM is incorrect. You might want to check your SQL logic there Dodgy and while you are at it look at the result/nom process screen. The changes you made where you have a link to select nominations or results keeps reseting to nominations after the page refresh after each race is processed. Had to painfully go through and process them through the shortcuts changing the =noms to =results. You might need to globalize the variable you use to switch between results and nomination updates so it doesnt reset on page refresh's. |

LOL - you must have been doing processing the results while I was tinkering! I checked after I'd finished the first part and thought you had finished so
figured I had another week to update the script.

I did then I noticed race 20 didnt process correctly and the win totals didnt marry back to the race-book database. You have an issue with the wins total
Dodgy. 1 extra is registering. The total is 249 wins and only 248 races have been run. Places and stakemoney match back perfectly. Funnily though the number of
starts match back perfectly for Padraig who has benefited from the rogue win so I dont think it is an extra entry but an entry that didnt register correctly.
Do a group and count query grouping on race/place and when you find an entry that comes back with a count greater than one you have found where the duplicate
is.

Dave,
No doubt your horses have been short changed recently but I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet with the quality of stable you have. Myself and a lot of others would love to train the quality of horses you have. I still look forward to my horses running each week in the slight hope of picking up some prize-money somewhere but my stable is dire compared to last season. The quality of horse this season is astounding so kudos to all trainers who have worked hard to make this the case. To be honest, there is more of a luck element that there is in real life but we have all suffered through this. BTW, I have even been known to shout home some of George Morgan's horses as it would be great to see one of his roar home. Good luck George, I hope you succeed before the season ends. Keep faith everyone.. if I can , you can. Jimbo |

have to aim at certain races which are then blown to pieces after 1 Furlong week in week out. |

It happens to all of us but that is part of the fun. If you horses ran according to plan every week it would be pretty unrealistic.

You know your luck will change soon and that you are only ever one week away from grabbing 5 winners. |

Happens to me aswell. Just look at Mythical Force - a horse that smashes Teresina (Multiple G1 league winner), Daggers Dream (League G1 Winner) and it really
struggled due to a farcical pace.
Now Spacious seems to be suffering from this aswell... |
