So thought I would make a thread of it. So what is the best horse(s) coming in for you in week 9? What are you tipping to be your stable superstar. For me I have two horses I am looking forward to seeing run and have huge wraps on them. They are The Purple Pirate Exceptional two miler. This is a big step up from Princess Pereira who is already a star this season and on par with What The Feck as the best stayer around. She is so good that Princess Pereira has now been reduced to handicap status (with a mark of 97 which will completely stuff ESA and his handicap fixing ) . Clearly best stayer I have ever bred. Weekend Hussler Without a shadow of a doubt the best horse I have ever bred. Had a huge wrap on him but I did not realise how good he was until yesterday. Was running 10 furlong trials and decided to throw a few turf horses in to boost numbers. To my complete amazement this one beat every single one of my 10 furlong horses on all surfaces except dirt . This one is better than All Black Magic on soft. Is better than Spot on good. Is better than Give It To Me Baby on firm. But the beautiful thing about this horse is it is a turf horse. As impressive as he was against my 10 furlong horses, he is every bit as good at 12 furlongs. This one regularly breaks SOPL track records in trials at 10 furlongs and 12 furlongs. This is the sort of horse you win championships with and I have ENORMOUS expectations of him

He will hate the ground in the Superlative Stakes but if he gets anywhere near the top 5 you'd better watch out!! Crazy Years is way ahead of my sprinters, See Ye Lass and Sister Act - I must be crazy to think she can compete with Cities In Dust!! Purple Dreams - soft ground classic filly - she will take some stopping whenever there is some cut in the ground. Bit worried about The Purple Pirate - I havent been working on my stayers at all - look forward to meeting you with Who The Feck at Flemington in November!!! I'm just trying to ignore this Weekend Hussler - "Without a shadow of a doubt the best horse I have ever bred" - Paul

Little rundown on them. . . . All Too Bootiful Was a seriously hard decision whether to enter as a 2yo or 3yo. I went for the 2yo as I have other 3yos just as good if not better over same trips and she is a classy 2yo also who hasn't trialled much but I know is my best over 6F in Good but may also get further. Daddys Girl Had this before the season started but didn't think of her chalenging much with lack of soft ground races. July Cup is in Softer ground but she is unlikely to win but she can place anyway. She is very good still but not sure good enough to win. Elle Mapherson Was absolutely banging in times but before confirming she ran slower than she had done which was worrying. However i've stuck with her as she was amazing and if hitting that form a major force to be reckoned with in the mile races. Holy Roman Empress A bit similar to the above horse in hot and cold but in last 2 trials she was red hot. Hope she continues that and will race over 10F mainly. Opera Cape Absolutely loves dirt and is one serious animal on that. Is also up with my best on turf but he can run immense times on dirt, Mainly trialled at Gulfstream so the Group 2 has to be the target one would think. Queen Of Sheeba Very good and capable of running immense times also. Can run a stinker though but on pure ability she is up there and can race the mile to 10f as the majority of my horses can but probably best over the longer trip also. Wananskin Same comments apply to this one. But is very consistent in running good times. My divisions have definately strengthened alot more and hope that will kick my challenge for Top Mile & Top 3yo Filly and hopefully make a big effort for the 10F division with the quality I have there but not had the luck over that trip, Yet. . . .

Both of them are a length better than my star Tawriffic over 5 furlongs. Because I only need one of them for good or firm tracks I decided to use the other one as a 2yo. My 2yo is Alpine Express and he is a full brother to Tawriffic who likes good tracks. My 3yo is Enny Time and he is a son of Alpine Express and Fair Time who are also in my stable. He likes firm tracks but is very good on good ground as well

A natural front runner, but has got guts. Runs some very good times in trials. Brought in to fill the void for my bid to get a Leger win. Northern Gleam - 1m soft ground. Newmarket is a perfect track to make her debut and conditions are perfect. Could go close Kayf Tara - Iron horse. Brought in to get me close in the firmer Iron horse races. Prefers 2m3f and up. Have completed dumped my previous batch of Turf horses as they were exceptionally bad. My new batch are not world beaters, but will be closer in the finish.

Fair Play - Decent 2yo Male Sprinter might pinch a nursery down the road but looks like playing for place money. Never quite got any decent 2YO'S Full Fill - Will make no qualms about it, pretty good classic Firmer ground horse but will look to get as close a mark to 60 as I can for Cambridgeshire, would love to win the race and just hope there is the word Firm in the going. In as a 4yo as not quite as good as Green Zone. Green Zone - Extremely Versatile almost up there with my best milers and sometimes beats them. Best over 1M1 and 1M2, doubtful stayer though does sometimes win over 1M3. Will look to win a group 2 or 3 when hopefully the big trainers runners have Group 1 penalties, big chance on debut in restricted maiden. Welsh the Best - Named in honour of our Grand Slam Heroes and also after a pretty good Greyhound. This is my Leger Firm ground insurance policy horse, not quite as consistent as Blarney stone but also adept over 1M5 so will look at Geofrey Freer, Irish Leger and also if still eligible the restricted Leger. I'm waiting to make my final splash at the next upload window. I'll only have some retired spots to fill but might find some good ones then. For this upload, I brought in six 2YO's to cover the mile+ races on most ground. I might get lucky with one of them performing better than expected but my 2YO trials revealed that The Judge and Maggie Rapture were the dominant two. Those two are currently 3YO's in my stable and having one average and one poor season. If that's an indicator...ouch. I also decided to include one sprinter with Banoubi Star. I didn't trial properly or really at all for this spot but she stuck out in yearly trials and I know she's better than most of the sprinters I currently have. I may already have better than her and I'll find out when I take the time before the final upload.

Ice Storm is good in the soft but not as good as Enchant. They are all better than Enchanted Garden so I should be closer to the pace in the group 1's. I now have 12f horse to cover most courses or grounds. Postulate and Judas Iscariot are both better than Symbol of Light so over 2 miles I should be very strong. This week is when the best will be seen of two of my horses Enchant and Esa's Nightmare. They both get there preferred conditions for the first time so I am expecting big runs Goodwood is soon and I trial there I'm hoping that I can get a few winners at Glorious Goodwood. My horses break all the track records at Goodwood except the sprints so things should go well

I don't have many low rated horses so I have brought a few in that will be aimed at handicaps. Giant Strides Alot if 2YO 1m-1m2f races coming up so this filly will be running in these. She prefers 1m2f but if ridden correctly can do 1m/1m1f so should run well in these races. Allocation 3YO 1m2f horse will be aimed at The Zetland Gold Cup and The Summer Stakes. Just as good as my current 1m2f brigade so should run well of lows mark. Broken Hearted 3YO 1m6f horse was brought in for The Ebor and Old Borough Cup but with Rough Diamond on a mark of 62 have decided to save Rough Diamond for the handicaps as she is better over 1m6f. Broken Hearted will run in The Curragh Cup and possibly the Leger depending on the ground. Jadrakeeji 1/4 behind Jasmines Hero when running in ideal conditions but Jadrakeeji is showing signs of consistency so brought her in for handicaps. Will be aimed at the Stewards Cup and The Ayr Gold Cup. Medeirossi 3YO 1m4f horse. With Mount Alberta not performing aswell as expected this one has been added to race in handicaps. She is 3l plus better than Mount Alberta which should see me win the Knavesmire Handicap and The November Stakes Handicap. Parking Ticket 3YO 5f horse brought in for The Jockey Club Sprint and The Portland. I might even run her in group races because Kisses For Me hasn't lived up to my expectations. Seventies Fashion 3YO 2m1- 2m4f horse. 1/4 length off Princess Eliis which is good enough for handicaps. Will be aimed at Pontefract Cup Handicap and Cesarewitch Handicap. Zambezi Sun 3YO 1m horse. She is 1l better than Pams Oaks who is my current handicap miler. There is at least 4 races for her. I have put so much effort into the planning of my stable and where my horses will run I will be disappointed not to be in the top 5 come the end of the season. Good Luck All. Posts: 238 (03/30/08 4:39 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Here is some comments on my gems coming in....leon take note Downladder....best two miler i have but had nothing to measure against...2m g/firm Fuller stresses me.....Well named and is as good as stankovic but will go looking for the big handicaps....1m4 g/firm Cohanya.......Monster....a length better than speed limits but chose to run over 1m4 as he beats township who ran close in aussie derby....1m6 g/soft President Putin....My best 1m2 horse but will most prob end up in lower group races or major handicaps....loves the dirt though.... Mercury stress......Only in because she loves the dirt!!!.........1m 2 Good luck everyone

Posts: 344 (03/30/08 7:10 AM) SOPL Punter's Hall Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	got some nice types coming in this week but they all need the correct ground which the laegue aint giving at the mo chucky ,firm ground sprinter who does newmarket six in 1.05,30 doesnt act on any other ground not to great on g/f even looking forward to a match with dust darts marathon, not a bad type but 6f furlong horses have been a curse for me for years there like esa,s milers but convinced this is good excited , yes i am to seeing this one and it doesnt have to be held of the screen like the majority of mine are seems to kick on about 6out and stays there can go under 2minutes for newmarket firm 10f race in my trials mighty moss, easily better than balanchine and can run any 3yr old in my yard to with in a length older miler groups is quite weak so should win races tarlac, exported at the time when my dirt horses were king is classy only on dirt still a full horse as well obviously aming for breeders cup juvenile double thriller , utter monster if any 5f soft or heavy ground sprints appear but will prob never make the track not running for sake of it double trigger , full bro to the above equall ability almost this is very smart form 6f to 1m looking forward to this overall looking for some g1,s out of these if not group races or even handicaps and worse still i dont mind trying to win restricted races but with league standard through the roof nay thing is a bonus good luck all

Stunning effort Dave - very impressed with the time - I ran some trials after watching the race and Who The Feck couldnt get within two seconds of it!! - Enough Hurt from last season who liked Newmarket won all my trials but only at 3:27 and bits. The only comfort is that you named it after me - still think Who The Feck can give it a race at Melbourne as she loves that track but I'm not confident any more!!!
