Xbox 360 warning |

Does anyone here have an Xbox 360? I just want to put out a warning of problems Microsoft is having with bad consoles, and problems the
consumers are having with content they download. As of today there are 138 pages on this http://forums.xbox.com/1/11979922/ShowPost.aspx#11979922 Xbox forum that you might want to read at least the last few pages before buying
an Xbox or spending money on Xbox live content.

Oh wow! I had heard just a little before, but had no idea it was this much of a concern. I am still waiting for a good excuse to buy a PS3 and may settle for
a Wii console first. Lord knows when Tecmo will come out with another Gallop Racer game, if any. If they do it might be an online-only game for the PC only.

The wii is fun and has totally different types of games. We bought one after the 360 died. It's much better for family type play, but if you're looking
for online play the PS3 might be the best choice. We have bowling, tennis, table tennis, baseball, golf etc for the Wii. Eventually we're going to get the
PS3 too, there are games we like that are only made for Playstations, and I might break down and get some Japanese games if I don't have to mod my machine

I went PS3 because of Gallop Racer
and Gran Turismo The Blue Ray player option is VERY nice! I only have 1 movie in Blue Ray so far (300), but the visuals blew me away! I am well pleased with my purchase. My best friend got a 360 last week for Halo3 and that game is pretty awesome. He bought from Best Buy and added in a free replacement warranty. Smart move, I think. Beau |

I've had my PS3 for sometime now, i don't regret spending the boatload of cash that it cost me one bit. I also bought my PS3 in anticipation for a PS3
Gallop Racer version but have given up on those hopes. Fifa 08, Call of Duty 4 and Burnout Paradise are All incredible games that just won't let me put
down the controller.
I have played Halo 3 on a friends 360 and it doesn't even come close to Call of Duty 4 on the PS3!! Now we just have to see if Socom will top COD4! |

I just read about a class action lawsuit regarding the xbox 360 for scratching the disks. If that's happened to you you can download the lawsuit at
http://xbox360defective.com/lawsuit.php There is a link part way down.

Worst gaming console?A warranty company claims the Xbox 360 has a failure rate five times higher than other gaming consoles. ยป Why?

"Move it and lose it. Don't change the orientation of the console when it's running. The DVD drive's running gear isn't as well secured as
it could be, so knocking over a vertically-standing console can cause the machinery to collide with the disc surface. Characteristic circular scratches are the
result and are generally fatal for the game."
That's actually not correct. A study in the Netherlands I think, tested 360's. For defective disc drives, it doesn't have to be touched or moved to scratch discs. And a note to people, I can't remember where I read, but if you call about scratched discs Customer Service will ask you if you have your Xbox vertical or horizontal. If it's vertical they will try to blame the problem on you.
