How did everyone do in the Cup races? I know some of you might not have run yet.
Amoeba Zeus came in 2nd in a 1900m run with jockey Shae Gerhart guiding him to a photo finish (didn't really look that close to me while watching though 
)

Violent Clancy ran 4th (out of 4 runners). Soon heading home with tail between legs.

Actually Beau, I ended up watching that race and didn't realize who the other runners were until after it was done.
I thought at one point you were going to come back into it...there's a reason why I don't bet though

Sizzling (my 4yo gelding) came in 2nd in his race! Woo! And to think I entered him at semi-last minute, after scratching my original entry...yikes.
I'm still $3k in debt though :P anyway, woo! there were a TON of horses in that race too...23 I think. yay me! |

my mare Obsidian Fiery placed 4th out of 22
rusteford farms 1 st Concords vinerard 2 nd hot to trot 3rd crown royal 4th lucky eleven 5th i was so pleased to have placed this well as i haden gotten to race her till this race so didn't have any idea if i would even place at all. havent got to watch any of the races yet as usual i am having problems getting my soft were to work hope to have it working when my son inlaw gets her for xmas. hes is a hole lot smarter than I'am with the workings of the pc. |

All of mine are either Sprinters or Short runners. I am training my 2yo to run longer races. Hope that works out okay.

Oh man, I'm in trouble.
I got 2nd in my cup race...and after the financial update, I don't have enough to send another horse to the track! I put up 3 horses for auction, including my only mare, because I"m desperate...I feel dumb 
So if anyone wants to go bid on my horses, I have Nadine Brie, Two Ted Magic and Candlelight Gracie up for auction. |

I don't think I'll be taking my invitation to the next round of cup racing. The only horse I could send would be Violent Clancy and I don't think
he'll be ready in time.
I won't send Maple even though she's my best horse. It's more important for me to maintain my lead in Class 4 at Windy City. The season ending payout for 1st place is considerable and Maple needs to run in a Class 4 race this week. It's bad enough that I had to enter Disney Cocoamo in a Class 4 race for week 11. He's run 3 weeks in a row already. I don't have any other horse eligible for the second Class 4 race I'm eligible to run in, so he's it. Beau |

I came in 5th on my Mare Paintbrush Anita, she's going on to the second leg of the cup races, hopefully I'll get a good run in with her and make it to
the 3rd leg.

I went ahead and entered Violent Clancy into the second round of Cup racing. I waited until today so that I could be sure that the entry/travel would not
affect tonight's training.

By selling my mare I"m back in the positive for money, I have $46k. That will be gone as of next week due to faciliites and all that, but I have enough
now to travel for the cup race. I entered a stakes race too, so hopefully I can pull in some cash.
