I just created this forum for players who are interested in playing the soon-to-be released Starters Orders 3 game. It will have of course, the UK racing
system in the game. The UKRA will be in fact, the old SOPL. With the addition of the United States Racing Association and the National Hunt Club, the old
SOPL is now the the United Kingdom Racing Association. The official racing schedule for this new Racing Association will be mostly what it has always been for
the past eight seasons. It might be slightly adjusted so that it synchs with the USRA. For instance, the Breeders Cup races will now be hosted by the USRA
instead of the UKRA. Then the new UKRA and the USRA President will discuss with the SOPL International President, the coordinatino of the two seasons and to
decide on which prestigious races that both Racing Associations host, would be considered "International" races and open for qualification or
invitation to and by the Trainers of the other Association. Those "International" races would then have to be synchronized on both Racing
Associations racing schedules.
This is something that I have envisioned ever since I helped Mark Loveday, the creator of the Starters Orders series, put the US Expansion Pack together for Starters Orders 2. With the release of Starters Orders 3 that will no longer be an expansion pack, but a full integrated feature of the Starters Orders 3 game engine as well as its Race Construction Kit.
The Starters Orders Pro League is already the ORLWorld's largest league as well as longest in existence. The creation of the UKRA, the USRA and the National Hunt Club would markedly increase its size as welll as add new options for all the Traines that have never been available to players of horse racing games anywhere in the world!
