He then told me some of his ideas he has in regards to improving the league only Race Construction Kit that I thought were absolutely fantastic. It would take some programming time to both implement and test them out which he does not have right now. He is flat out on getting SO 3 released first. Posts: 491 (02/10/08 2:23 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	if races are created by ( number of dog files sent) then i would just post tracks /goings schedule ? and (create races by the numbers? ) instead of showing all distances and trying to fill them?..you will have racing every week ...you will have no probs with features because they done by heats.....cheers.. each track hold 11 races average.275-875m. THERE IS A MAXIMUM 4 NOMINATIONS PER DISTANCE FOR THE NON-FEATURE RACES. THERE IS NOW A MAXIMUM 2 NOMINATIONS PER DISTANCE FOR THE FEATURE RACES. Posts: 492 (02/10/08 6:29 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	you might get over 150/200+ dog files each week sent. so if you get 32 dog files for 275m create 6 races (by the numbers). if (only 10 dog files) for 625m then just create 1 race ? so if 7 players only enter 1 week you have created a race programme by the numbers?(dog files sent.). if 14 players enter that week create a race programme by the numbers?(dog files sent.). think u have said 24 races maximum. every track holds 11 races on average from 275-875m .....so players just sent in dog files giving 1st 2nd pref distance.each week. just post tracks /goings schedule .Then a finilised racecard once you created races. feature races dont have this problem cause you can create heats. ps .so if a players dog dont run is due to not enough dogs for the distance. as you stated-THERE IS A MAXIMUM 4 NOMINATIONS PER DISTANCE FOR THE NON-FEATURE RACES. Okay, I get it. It would simplify things to just have GPL standard distances at all 4 GPL sanctioned tracks. So players could submit the dogs they want to compete each week with the 1st & 2nd preferred distances listed. Yeah, I like it. We don't have enough dogs yet to do sex and graded races yet, but we will do puppy races. I will definately have some puppies for GPL II. So in this way I would be in complete control over having just 24 races each week. The number of Feature races on Feature race week, might be a little different. Lets say that I made the maximum number of Heats for a Feature race as 4, then that would be 2 Semi-Finals races. That would be a total of 6 races per Feature race in that week. That means it would be officially 4 Feature races in a Feature race week. Okay, got it. Hopefully, this will be a mute point come GPL II.
