Can't believe Seventies Fashion, Princess Ellis and Parking Ticket (My 3 main fancies) didnt scrape a win between them. A great week for Jay Valler with 3 wins. Another 2 from Mr Ramjet. Newbie of the season by far. Also well done to Kevin Kelley and his winner Fatt Cat . The most impressive winner of the week for me even if it did put Seventies Fashion in his place. Well done also to Carl Murphy who had a second with And Sleep. Well done mate! Unlucky Speedster with Invasor it unfortunately picked up an injury. Speedsters only hope of a winner. Unlucky mate. I don't think it would have won anyway even if it didnt get injured. It was too far back in the field. Well done to all winners.. Invasor may need smaller trip.

Nice to pick up two here with Fatt Cat and Alma Rasta. I had nearly forgot how excited I get with a winner. Could've used some seventies fashion with the disco moves I was throwin down during that stretch. Congrats to all winners this week!

Quite pleased with Green Zone again may just be better over 9f but I think the Nassau over an easy 10f will suit, also glad to be back in restricted for Goodwood due to Kamo's victories , know that's no guarantee of success but gives more options. I havent played the game anywhere near enough to get the top, top class breedings and dont plan on hammering it at all now that SO3 is due out shortly. But, Ive always thought very highly of And Sleep and was devastated to see the poor performance on its debut, albeit over 6f. Even still, I expected better and I thought the standard was just way too good. But And Sleep proved to be my star and hopefully, I can collect some decent prizes with her. Do I go for Sussex or the Handicap next week. Sussex looks a little hotter so may try the handicap. Just hope she hasnt flew up too much in handicap after her 2nd. Needless to say, this has whet my appetite for SOPL on SO3..... roll on. Congratulations to all trainers who picked up the bacon this week.

It was really nice to see my 2yo filly that does perform at home to finally perform on the track after starting making me feel like it was all bent. She had more duck eggs than my mums farm........but AV THAT !!! just Imagine that..... Good luck all & especially Paul.

I would be lying if I didnt say this was probably the worst week I have ever expeirenced in the league. Despite two minor wins, the rides given to all three of my horses in the big ones where nothing short of %^##$@ disgraceful The impact this will have on championship standings is devastating and quite possibly unrecoverable Weekend Hussler was beaten by one of the worst rides imaginable I dont think it takes a genius to figure out where he would have come with a half decent ride given his losing margin. To make matters worse Spot was ridden from the front. Had he settled he would have finished in the first two. He can almost break two minutes at Arlington then Give It To Me Baby's jockey decided to go for home way too early as well So having two favorites and a second favorite in the big races and I walked away with one measly $^%#&# fourth, all through jockey incompetence, has left me seething with rage What has made it worse is Padraig was the chief beneficiary ruining my championship aspirations. What is the $^%#&# point in giving jockey instruction when the bastards dont follow them I can cop one bad ride, tolerate two but three is just bloody unacceptable. There ya go JV, its off my chest now

Always the horses I seem to most fancy as well. Draft Dance & Queen Of Sheeba my 2 main fancys for the week both went from the front, As did Sound Of Screech who wouldn't of won I dont think anyway, Pestral Dom towards the front and she always comes late & All Too Bootiful is best coming late also. Elle Macpherson, One of the worst rides i've seen this season. 5 Group Races down the pan after the first couple of furlongs or so yet again. Could actually argue 7 bad rides with Wanakin but she wouldn't of won anyway and suprised she never finished last. At least Echleon returned to form with a good win & Mythical hitting the crossbar was also a good run. With Mythical finishing 2nd in big handicaps and you know she is no were near as good as your best makes it frustrating as anything as well. Well Done All Winners again this week. Good Variety. Roll on next week though. Not properley trialled at Goodwood myself as I usually do them at Newmarket but this has to be the biggest week for me. Perfect ground and plenty of races to get stuck into. If it was Longchamp or York which suit front runners he would have probably won. Respect My Authority is very very good. Looking forward to seeing him go over 12f this week after dominating at 10f.

But DU we all have bad rides every week thats what makes this league unique....

Then when you see about 5 horses each week getting bad rides it gets seriously frustrating.
