For some reason when using office 2000 (which I have) it changed a bunch of things even if I told it not to convert the files. It wouldnt make the reports correctly and there were a host of problems I encountered.

down loading now will take 18 hrs maybe less i have slow dial up conection was broken lost my down load had to re start down load at 2:25 my time --- still down loading 12 hrs left ( 5 hrs left ) my time 12:30 pm

sence i would have to learn how to use the program if it were to be modified i would have to know what program to get. it wouls be easer if it stayed this way ???

Nick reported some report formatting issues with using other than Access 97. Unless someone wants to modify the current reports (standings etc), you will need to stick to 97.

There are some compatability issues between the database and Office 2003. I don't know about Office 2000 though. Frankly I was surprised that Office 2003 was not 100% backwards compatible.

I'm still looking into getting another copy of Office 97.

Our BIG sticking point for this league continues to be the lack of Race Secretaries. If we don't have those positions filled for LOC3, we don't have a league. It's that simple.

jim. beancline said i needed access 97 to work with out isues i though i had a down load but it will,not work my daughter has aksed a friend if his brother had an office 97 pro. that he didnt use any more wating for answer as soon as i get that im good to go for the postionf the 2000 work with out problems that would ne fan tastick please ask beancline. i dont know that much about the programes and and what the newer ones do different. pony ps very willing to learn.

I am having a problem. beancline say's i need access 97 to be able to work the data for the stud management along with some more soft were. T big problen is the assess 97 i down loaded a free access 97 fome streamnet database- and have spent the better part of a week and a half trying to get it to open so i could use it. If any one can help me with this I would greatly appreate it. my only other oppetion will be to try and buy some sofr wear, and that will be very hard to do as i am on a...

First off I would like to thank all those who contributed to the League of Champions in the past. You volunteered to provide some extra entertainment to those who enjoy Gallop Racer 2006 and you all did a great job.

The LOC staff are now only NicksBrownfan and Beau1935. They run everything now and that is not okay. Burnout can happen to volunteers if they are over taxed and these two are in danger of that happening to them soon. The LOC in order to continue, needs new staff. Please...
