Graphics at first did seem a bit dodge, but I have gotten used to them and the actual jockey animations are much clearer in this version. Maybe some future
patch will sort out the slightly cartoonish gloss on the graphics.
But if you want to compare SO to other sports stategy sims. e.g The Football Manager/Championship manager series....those games are based on deep statistical
simulation & realism with little emphasis on graphics...

Having played the game for last 2 days..

Graphics take time to adjust. This was the first thing I was critical off beta testing but after a few days they grew on me. Had some good ones in beta testing
that I couldnt take over to a new game. Had a 5 time Cheltenham Gold Cup winner and another one that won 11 group one 12f events and 5 group one jump events
(would have made a super stallion). Done that in 8 seasons. Yet to start a game in the final build. Thought I might let you guys get a day or two on me <img...

You get used to the graphics after a while. A small thing though it would be nice to have more colours to choose from. In fact the colours from SO2 where
better. My grey silks have gone

On another note 3 seasons into the game and was leading by about 6 lengths in the grand national and my horse fell at the last fence<img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/mad.gif"...

I like the graphics. The colors are more vivid, the horses are bigger. This makes it easy to see.

Since the horses are bigger, I could actually see when my jock checks, or scrubs, or whips even (so some I'd like to shoot already when I told them not to
trail & they check up for no reason & make the horse last, lol).

I like the race commentary.

I like the text size is bigger & easier to read.
