...a horse with high Toughness? The foals I am currently breeding have everything in the 80s-90s range except for Toughness, which is about 50, and I really need to get that up. I use Happy Plane alot and have many offspring out of her, so she isn't an option. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

How to avoid inbreeding?

I was wondering how you avoid inbreeding. I imagine at some point you always have to infuse some fresh blood, but that means using a game horse and that's a huge step back! Is there anyway you can avoid that? Do you have a special breeding system?

I just kinda breed my best horse to my best horse, but most of them have Jayho in them and I get the crossbreeding comment. Now I have Personal wind in my shed so I just breed everything to him, but I will run into the same problem...

Hi,
I've been trying to get some of the special abilities I read about here, but all I can seem to get is "nerves of steel"!
Do you have to breed, say, 2 horses with grit to get indomitable spirit? Or does it just evolve when you get lucky? Or is it something you do during a horses career that makes it pass it on in the breeding shed?
Also, I noticed on some of the screenshots I saw here, that horses with special abilities got a star. Mine don't have that, is...

Hi I'm new here! I've been playing GR2004 for awhile, uhmmm since 2004 actually... I'm not the best player, I'm in year 104 now and just recently won the DS and unlocked Happy Plane!! Did pretty good with her, won all the titles and now she's in my breeding shed.
I had expected that her babies would be a lot more expensive though? Before Happy Plane I did breed some decent horses that I paid over 200.000 for at the july sale, but her offspring is all right around a...

Who have you Bred her to that worked out the best. I personally loved her cross with Heartful Delight. I got a colt that has been amazing for me so far. He has won almost everything that i have put him in. I named him Delightful Lark. I have also bred her to Desert Diver and Rare Emerald each producing awsome babies. What are your experiences with her. Have you used her as a broodmare? If so who did you breed her to.

Breeding for Whip

Does anyone else have a hard time passing on this ability? I bred my mare that first obtained whip 4 times and only had one horse with whip, whose foals are now 2yos I'm racing. Out of his first 3, only 1 has whip and the other two have no latent abilities. Is it really this hard to pass on, or am I just getting unlucky? I definitely use whip in every race I can with these horses..

...a white COLT? I've gotten plenty of white fillies, but I have yet to come accross a white colt. Also, does Happy Plane produce colts? All I've ever gotten is fillies.

I'm a bit overly sentimental about certain early originals that I've had. And I have tried to make sure that their bloodlines continue on.

My sentimental early horses are:

1) Gray Ghost - C
2) Pixie - F
3) Knight Rider - F
4) General Lee - C
5) Phoenix - F
6) Night Court - F

One time I bred two Phoenix descendants, both colts, to several mares. The results weren't very...

I have just breed my fastest ever horse the speed is 116 staying 112, he is a sprint/miler who peaks at about mid 5y. The bloodline is touch n go F (perosnal ballet filly)/mind hack C-Turbulance C.. He is by far the best horse i have raced, the strange thing is he was winning G1s at 2y by 10+L, he is a mid pack runner just like is father, is traits are Indomitable spirit,LCL,close race ok and stretch burst. Am very excited about this horse's future breeds and also him racing in lsl5.

She will likely have a date with Huntington or a new top notch grandson of his called Irish Curse who has broken more track records in my game then any horse I have ever had.

Just out of interest , has anyone ever had a perfect match to a horse with a special ability ?

I have a horse with a special ability and would like to breed on from it with a perfect match , but i'm not sure if it's possible !

The problem is that the horse has the trait listed as its main trait , look at its pedigree chart , it has a little gold star next to it , denoting it as a special. I can pretty much breed with perfect matches through design except for these...

Is it worth breeding him? I only purchased him to improve trainer relations, then realized how horrible he is at racing. He seems like he could throw some speedy foals, but will they all be as limited as he is? I don't want to end up with babies that die over 7F..
