Phantom1974 had been so kind as to volunteer her services to the Leauge Of Champions as Race Secretary. She has already stepped into the role and is responsible for the running of the bottom half of the card for week 14.

Featured Topics for our Yuku Board

Impost and Guys vs. Dolls

Hey everybody!

I am going to start performing an impost study as it pertains to the sex of the horse. As things currently stand, all horses regardless of age or sex run with the same weight, usually 125.

I'm going to run test races with identical horses, except for the sex, and see if the ladies are being treated unfairly. I am going to run a series of races with all the horses carrying 125 lbs. If there is a disparity, I will start adjusting the ladies weights down...

Please use the eligibility report. It will be available early Friday morning.

Don't forget to list alternate races or horses when you see that a race is filling up and one of your runners may be in danger of being scratched. Underbooked races will have a sacrificial lamb in post position 1 this week.

I am experimenting with something here. Please Let me know if you can view the video in the middle of the cinema stage graphics okay or not. Do the stage graphics merged seamlessly or are there black gaps between sections. They look fine on my computer, but from experience I know they could just look like that from the strored cache of these graphics in my computer. Please click here. Thanks!

Ok. The bank is now updated and is current (except for breeding and horse sales). I had a brain fade and forgot to update betting for week 11 and 12. All fixed now. Pretty soon I will figure out how to enter miscellaneous transactions and new horses so I can update those too.

I know we are having troubles right now with the league and I have a few ideas on how maybe to fix them for LOC 3. Now these are random thoughts so take them as need be. What if we dropped the races down to just ten races a week with a max of 11 plus the inside post horse and 13 on the big races. Have 2 g1s one dirt, one turf, 2 g2s, one turf, one dirt, 2 g3s one turf, one dirt, two alw. one dirt and one turf, and 2 maiden races one dirt one turf. It doesn't have to be that format but you...
