GR2006 Money system...

What exactly IS the money system? Really?!

I get the points thing... sort of. But the money? Not really. It says the purse is X amount of G. For example, the Washington Derby's purse is 15000G... Why do I never see that G if I win?

Is it just a fictitious number to make you eager to race or is it really kept track of somewhere in the game? Because I don't see it ><

Please help me out. I've been playing this for a year now and its really started...

Hi my name is Jennifer and I live in San Antonio Texas and I just joined your group, I just wanted to say hi to everyone.
I love real horse racing and playing Gallop Racer, I used to play Gallop Racer 2004 and loved the game and now I just bought GR 2006 and i can see their are many differences in the game sense GR2004 ..... its harder!

Hi all , im a player of the old gr1999 on ps1 ( i play on my ps2) , i just start back a game couple days ago and im really in . Ive always love the breeding program in the first one. I remember playing the 2001 with the training stuff and didnt like it too much

so now here is my question , If i really like breeding , what would be better for me to buy the 2004 or the 2006 ?

Im reading thread on the forum and some says the 2004 was the better one after the original one some...

Why do some horses cost more to race in title collection?

Can anyone help with any insight about why horses bred from the same parents can cost more than another when racing them in the title collection mode? I have a SS offspring costing 8K to race and then an A offspring costing 16K. The SS was like nothing the world has ever seen, and the A was going to drive other horses into the ground.

Dirt Symbol Confusing

I have a horse that has a bullseye on turf but a filled-in triangle on dirt. I understand that you can improve your dirt symbol by racing well on dirt tracks. I won 11 consecutive G1 dirt tracks and the symbol still has not changed. Is it true that you can improve the dirt symbol by racing on dirt tracks as suggested here or am I just wasting my time? Thanks in advance.

Umm...I cracked open GR2006 this afternoon and was immediately lost. I played GR2003, but this '06 version is an entirely different beast. Can anyone email me a manual in PDF possibly. I know the manual isn't supposed to be that helpful based on the other posts I have read. But a general starting point would really help. Hoping to get up and running on the '06 version to join the online league at some point.

MONSTER Horse!

I've read several posts regarding birthing a monster horse. What's the criteria for determining whether you've birthed a monster horse? I know I've gotten a few SS horses as a result of breeding and after racing them find that most stats are in the red and a couple stats that resulted in 99+. These horses usually do very well at earning titles. Would these horses be considered monster horses or just very good?

Hi Guys, I have just bought a UK Playstation 3 (60GB, the backwards compatible one) and was wondering what solutions people had for playing Gallop racer/G1 Jockey(but more concearned about Gallop racer). I have looked on the European Sony website and both Gallop Racer 2 and Attheraces presents Gallop Racer are compatible, was there a UK release of Gallop Racer 2004/2006(did not have a PS2 so did not know at time of release? also does anyone know if the Playstation 3 will play NTSC Playstation...

Ive been playing Gallop Racer since 1997 when it was still a japanese version and names of the horses were real. I just discovered that I could create Live Chatrooms for any section on our Board. I have just created Live Chatrooms for the GR2006, GR2004, Starters Orders and Track King sections. That of course means that LOC, LSL, GPL, SOPL & Track King Trainers will now have local Live Chatrooms they can converse in. Enjoy!

I NEED HELP

I had been looking for Gallop Racer for FIVE MONTHS at my local game stores before I found it in Georgia on a trip to see my fiance (who was in basic training at the time)

In all my excitement of finding a Gallop Racer 2006 copy, I didn't pay attention that the store over charged me for a "new" copy with no manual or game case... Stupid of me.

So I played the...
