Sorry if I have missed this somewhere in all the information on the forums, but am I right in thinking that even after patch 1.02 has been installed that the construction kit still doesn't work for Jump racing?

I only ask this question to see if it's only my game or is a bigger issue that Mark has on his list to fix down the line.

The basic problem I have is the fact that the NH courses are not in the list to choose from and when you do select say Ascot and 2m5f...

My game was fine for actually several hours after I had installed the patch. Then it started crashing when I clicked on SKIP NEXT. Then it crashed on SKIP DAY and in a race day when I clicked on SKIP DAY. The last time I clicked on SKIP DAY in a race day I got the Error message above. Continuous crashes at end of season auctions... looking for help!

The game runs fine throughout the season, yet when it comes to end of season 2 year old auctions, my game crashes every single time as im bidding for horses i want... i dont mind when it happens once or twice, but it happens every year all the time, and its somewhat restricting me to skip to the next screen after buying 2 or 3 horses incase the game crashes.

The error that pops up is the following....

1.) Hall of Fame does not display all the player owned horses when selecting this option. Also the Difficulty level does not correlate with the game and seems to be set to random

2) If a horse runs in a sprint and finishes nowhere it will still be sprinter of the year if it has the most prize money. I just had a horse who was sprinter, horse and stayer of the year lol. Even though it ran last in a sprint and finished midfield in the Melbourn cup

My New US Showcases file crashes to the desktop everytime...

I installed the brand new US Showcases file that is available via the USRA forum, but it crashes my game to the desktop everytime. Everything loads fine until I click on my old game which is at January 1. That is as far as I get. Anyone have any ideas as to what you think I should do? And yes, my original showcases file was backed up. I also already had the latest patch installed a few days ago.

I'm having problems after season 14 again. Every season my game crashes at the start of the season in day 1. If I saved the game at the end of the season then the game will no longer load and have to start playing from my backed up game.

Mark if I can duplicate this in two more seasons I will send the game through. So far it has happened in season 14, 15 and 16. I either go into breeding or finish naming my horses and when I try to save an error message comes up. I'm trying...

Installing patches and modified showcase files

Hi Guys,

Just a heads up incase you've had this problem.

If you've got a modified showcase file, make sure you back it up before installing any new patches. I've found that, when I install a patch, my showcase file is reset to the standard file, and my game won't load after installing the patch.

Once I've re-instated my modified showcase file, my saved game loads perfectly.

Getting crash bugs fixed is a priority and replicating crashes is the key to locating problems quickly. So it is helpful that if anyone has a repeatable crash (that means you get the same crash at the same point every time you load the game) then let me know and I can have a look at your files. So far I have had no files sent in with repeatable crashes and have not been able to replicate them here. Original Showcase not working

Looking for bright ideas !!

I put in Dave Fullers jumps showcase and copied the original showcase files. However when I copied the originals back to C/Program Files/SO3/Data/1 it still kept Daves showcase.

Jason Burke has kindly emailed me the original showcase files but when I save them in the same file path - it still has Daves showcase. (Dave - its like you've taken over my machine !!)

Since installing the new patch my game crashes at the start of each season when clicking breeding. It has done this for the last 3 seasons. You have to skip a day before going into breeding???

StartersOrders.com and the other Strategic Designs Ltd. websites are being moved to a new server. This means that the website and forums may be down for a while this week (hopefully no more than 24 hours) and support may be a bit intermittent. Work on the next SO3 patch will continue once these changes have been made and everything is running smoothly again.

When I goto the training screen, I hover over the button on the far right of the horses name (where the head lad tells me if the horse is jaded or not).

But when I hover over that button it is giving me the wrong horse. Now I am not sure which horse is jaded...

This started after I had more than 5 horses.
