Now that was weird! I have 2 training apprentice jockeys. One of them I entered into her first Class 2 race on a horse's Class race debute, with much trepidation. I finally chickened out and looked for a pro jockey to ride this horse. The majority of them are inexperienced. The have earned 0 dollars because they haven't been in a single race! I got one and put her on the horse and was told that she would have no better luck on my horse in the Class race than my training...

Betting? Anyone try it yet?

Someone just emailed me to say that they put 2k on my sprinter and won $28k for her win. It didn't even occur to me to bet on her! Anyone try betting since that feature was released yet? If so, how have you done? Are you planning on betting regularly as a way to increase your income?

LOL I just figured out that I could hire and train a couple of Apprentices for my stables. Thats really cool.

Are any of you training apprentices? Have any successful procedures on going about this?

Track King Cup Round 1 - How Did You Do?

I had my 2 year old in Round One and he finished 3rd. Not bad, not bad. He's got distance, but lacks speed at this time. How did you all fair?

What is the reasoning behind not being able to register one of our horses for a Stakes race when we want to? I wanted to enter two of my young ones in a couple of Feb 1 Stakes races, but I was not allowed to until a day or so before the race. I got distracted by real world activities and missed the races completely. Now I want to register them for some Stakes races on Feb 8th, but I am not allowed to until sometime tomorrow. So why can't we register for a Stakes race several days in...

It might not be worth the travel for some of you, but if you have a bunch of sprinters and need a race, I have invitations for http://www.trackking.org/race.php?c=1&t=02&r=638 . I kept it small to stay afloat during the next off season, and because I had never created one before. But I have a horse ready to race and nothing for him to race in. So I made my own.

Two Class 3 Wins in Week Two!!

I was in 2nd place in my Class 3 league from week 1. A stable had won two races and my two horses came in 2nd and 3rd against one of those horses. My two this week won both of their races so I might be tied for first place, I don't know just yet.

Question how do you find out how many lengths your horse won by? I think the horse to track scale might be off a bit because visually it looked like both of my horse won by over 30 lengths and I KNOW that was not possible!

In Season 2 Week 1, I entered two horses into a League 3 1250m race. I then tried to enter another horse into a League 3 2,000m race, but I got this message...
You have no remaining Class 3 League invitations for Season 2, Week Does that mean that I am only allowed to enter 2 horses in league races each week even though my horses qualify for other League races in that same week?

The Americans have grown up with furlongs and it is rather difficult for us to get our heads around the meter distances described for all the races. My jockeys' contract is up in a couple of days and I want him to ride my horse on the 12th. He has won every race for me so far and I don't to lose him. I can't find anywhere however, as to how to renew or extend his contract. How do you do it?
