LOC3 Status Report

I'm steadily getting the database set up for the new season. It's a bit of a decent sized job entering all the horses and getting the Race Secretary files set up but I am working through it and hope to be ready soon.

Here's to hoping I don't wreck the database!

Leased Horses for LOC3

Those of you who are going to lease out horses for this season need to send them to your customers in fairly short order. The stable owner who is leasing them needs to list them and send them to me the same as any other owner. For all intents and purposes, these horses will be treated as if they are owned by the leasing stable owner. Any lease agreement is a private arrangement between two stables. The database is not set up to track this kind of transaction.

I made a bit of a website today using Google Page Creator for a new Track King Newspaper started by a friend of mine on Track King. Anyways. I had the idea that if the writers were willing to write then I could get the site set up for them to put up articles about each weeks outcomes, big race previews, match races. Roster change for LOCIII?

I would like the active stable owners for the League Of Champions to consider a change in the way we handle this league for this coming season.

The change I would like you to consider is the elimination of the mid-season roster update.

While the mid-season roster update may have been necessary in the first season to help newer stables be more competetive, I feel that it is no longer necessary for the good of the league.

I competed in the LSL IV with leased horses and broke a million in purse earnings. It was fun! I would like to do the same thing in the LOC III. So I am asking for horses that you like, but just won't have room for in your stables. Maybe I can show them off for you in my stables! Providing I put them in the right races. First of all a great thanks to everybody that made LOC II as great as it was, but there are always improvements needed to be made so here is that forum. my suggestions would be:

*Multiple entries from trainers into races

* New schedule from the previous seasons

* Higher Stakes for 2yos

* Have some of the series looked over and possibly changed.

EVERYONES contribution will be greatly appreiciated in creating an even better LOC III.
