I think the variety of training methods in this game is excellent, but is there any other training methods that you wouldnt mind doing for your youngsters.

I wouldnt trying different head gear or any equipment and see what reaction the horses gives to it. Eg- blinkers, winkers, tongue tie, rings etc. Instead of just putting them on for appearance, make them useful.

So starting off, you can workout 3 horses. Come race time, those 3 horses will have the form you left them with, and of the rest there will be a mix of "average" and "good" form, implying that some of your other horses are getting a workout too.

The the workout plan becomes available and I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do any more workouts. But no, to get a horse on "Excellent" form, I still have to do it myself.

So how does the workout...

So in other words, if I do speed training am I just lowering my horse's minimum distance or am I increasing his potential speed (for the finishing burst for example) as well?

I will admit at first I thought this was a bad feature of this game, but after a while, you get used to each training method and its very easy.

I recently produced a 2yo called Dane Memory and it has no red boxes and 4 green boxes. I think I did a great job in training him up, he won on debut by 4 lengths.

The 2yos you breed on Gallop Racer takes forever to get to the race track which is soo boring, where it takes about 6-7 months to get your 2yo on this game to the races,...
